The Vegetable Industry Biosecurity and Business Continuity Strategy (VegWatch) is a five-year strategic investment designed to strengthen biosecurity preparedness and resilience across Australia’s vegetable industry. The project is aimed at developing a practical biosecurity strategy that provides an adaptable and flexible framework to prepare for high-priority exotic pest threats, support an effective response in the event of a detection, and guide early monitoring and management efforts as new pests establish in Australia, helping to safeguard industry sustainability and business continuity.
