Davis George
Davis has completed a Diploma of Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Economics and Finance with Honours) both at The University of Melbourne.
Since joining CIS, Davis has taken responsibility for the analytical and quantitative components of our engagements, leading the development of economic impact assessments for projects, supporting the development of the cash budget and financial tables and supporting the development and collection of the key components of funding applications. Davis has also supported the development of commercialisation plans for research projects.
Davis has a strong interest in bridging the gap between academic research and industry. He has a wide range of skills in the context of financial modelling, general business advisory and independent research. He has a particular interest in environmental sustainability having completed the climate change "breadth" stream as part of his undergraduate course and is keen to assist clients to capitalise on opportunities in this area.
Prior to joining CIS Davis has worked as a bond adviser conducting credit analysis and providing credit reporting. He also previously interned at M.H Carnegie a Co, a leading private equity, venture capital and alternative investments asset manager where he analysed and researched proposed investments in collaboration with the firm’s senior associates.
